The Story of the Chameleon Project

The Chameleon Project

The Chameleon Project is a not-for-profit garden and educational facility. It was developed as an inspirational destination for artists, writers, scientists, and humanity in general. It came as a vision to Bearcloud, who is a visionseeker, of Ni-U-kon-ska roots. He first saw the project in the year 2000.

The complete story and pictures can be found at The Chameleon Project, Beginnings. The Chameleon Project incorporates Native American indigenous reflections of the Earth. Within the organization is a Council of Elders who will address questions regarding the nation and all of the Earth.

The beauty of the gardens is enhanced by symbols created as inspirational, geometrical floral arrangements, adding color to the thought provoking concepts of Self, Earth and the Universe.

Bearcloud’s first vision was of an unusual pyramidal structure, consisting of 17 pyramids. The surface of these pyramids flowed with mutable colors, reflecting changes in the environment around them, and this quality became the basis for naming the project. See the article The Chameleon Pyramids to access this beautifully illustrated story.

In the summer of 2007, Bearcloud moved the project into stage two by forming a not-for-profit corporation aimed at fulfilling the vision. His dream is that all people will perceive this beautiful sanctuary as their own. The Chameleon Project invites you to become a member of the largest project to ever support the spirit of humanity on Earth.
