The Chameleon Project takes another major step forward in consciousness and the public arena.

NOVEMBER 2008 - The general public will be formally introduced

Festival of Treesto the Chameleon Project a the first Festival of Trees event at the world renowned Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village in Sedona, Arizona.  Tlaquepaque is an Aztec word meaning “the best of everything” and it is known as the “Art and Soul of Sedona.”  It is visited by more than a million visitors each year with a heavy influx during the Christmas Season.

As part of the synchronicity of persons and events propelling the project forward, Mally Paquette has volunteered to use her unique talents to put the Chameleon Project in the spotlight during the Christmas Season at Tlaquepaque.

The Festival of Trees will be a collection of Christmas trees decorated by local and internationally known artists Bearcloud, John Soderberg, Chris Navarro, Andrea Smith, Lisa Danielle, Misty Soderberg and Robert Shields.  Other area artists and Tlaquepaque galleries will contribute more than 25 Christmas trees to ensure that Tlaquepaque’s first Festival of Trees makes a big impact on the festivity of the season and consciousness of visitors to this distinctive shopping destination.

The trees will be on display Friday, November 28 through Monday, December 7.  Each tree will have a bidding sheet for persons to bid on these one-of-a-kind Christmas trees.  All donations go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Arizona and Chameleon Project.  In addition to the silent auction, there are sponsorships available; Gold Star $2,000, Silver Star $1,000 and Tree Sponsor $500. Click here for sponsorship information. For more information contact Mally Paquette at 772.643.2742.

The public introduction at the Festival of Trees can only increase the momentum moving the Chameleon Project to reality.

Each sponsorship will receive tickets for the hosted event at Tlaquepaque “Meet the Artists” on Friday, December 5, all proceeds going to the Festival of Trees.

Supports the Chameleon Project

November 9th at the Voyager Resort in Tucson Arizona, members of the RETREADS® Motorcycle Club will be introduced to the Chameleon Project through a presentation by Pat Larson.  Pat has been an integral part to the Chameleon Project; she is a long time friend of Bearcloud’s promoting his artwork throughout the US.  Now promoting the Chameleon Project, Pat believes that one of the fundamental aspects is to get everyone involved from all walks of life, and when she approached RETREADS® they were excited to support the Project.  Motorcycle clubs are very supportive of charities that reflect upon them as caring members of the community, instead of the rebel image often portrayed in the media.

Her talk will include a video with a 3-D Animation of the Chameleon Project structure, paintings inspired through Bearcloud’s visions and much more.  RETREADS® and Pat will also be putting a series of charitable fundraisers for the Project.  This is presentation is open to the public.  For more information contact Pat Larson at 520-471-0148.

The Chameleon Project is also making big steps forward behind the scenes.  Bearcloud, the Chameleon’s creator and visionary, has completed the design for a Mandela of Walkways on 52 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens.  His vision is a place where people from all over the world can come to meditate, enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the gardens, deepen their connection to Mother Earth, support our connections to the earth that are beyond the material world, and create a foundation for the children and future generations to come.  Each garden in the project will be exceptional and a work of art within itself, incorporating the designs of world-renown landscape artists, sacred geometry, and glyphs from the mysterious crop circles seen world-wide.  The gardens will incorporate flowers, trees, waterfalls, ponds exclusive to different parts of the world, and personalized to the designs and vision of the more than 200 landscapers selected to create a sacred space to experience nature’s healing power. Click to view the Garden Photos.

Also coming into shape is the first of three models for the Chameleon Project.  They will incorporate the design, mood, and magic of the gardens.  The models will transfer Bearcloud’s mental vision into a three dimensional representation that can be easily transported and set up for a formal presentation to demonstrate the beauty, size, shape, and intent of the Chameleon Project.  The models will be on display at the Chameleon Project headquarters 3150 West Hwy. 89A in Sedona, Arizona.

Bearcloud is excited by the synchronicity of new volunteers, energy, and money coming through propelling the project forward.
