In the Native American way of philosophy or understanding, we are considered to be related to all things. So much so, that often elements of the Earth are assumed to be people. Hence, native people call the Earth the Earthmother, the sky, Skyfather, the moon, the Grandmother, and so on. These elements are given the same regard as our biological families, in the same way we honor our grandfathers and grandmothers, and so on.
Native people see our natural resources as relatives and so they too are referred to as people, such as, the Tree nation people, the Cloud nation people, the Water nation people and the Star nation people and so on. These are given the same high respect and regard as our blood relations. They are considered blood relatives.
Also native people have no issue with the assumption we have other relatives in our universe. They too are Star nation people. They might possess the ability to visit us, as we are related.
Bearcloud is related to the bloodline Anishinabe. The word roughly translates to "People who came from the sky." There are many native origin stories that speak of coming from the stars. Many pictographs and petroglyphs are Starglyphs, i.e.: star symbols etched on stone that have stood the test of time.
