A Sculpture Embarks on a Magical Journey

Art of a new kind embarks on a magical journey. It is a collaboration between Sedona’s own Bearcloud and internationally known David Lewis called the Chameleon. This incredibly unique sculpture has a full, original painting by Bearcloud on one side and a sculpted landscape on the back.

This oval shaped art pictures a scene that tells a story with faces emerging through the stone, rocky ledges with waterfalls and an eagle with its wings spread across the stars. Magical, twisting tree limbs form a door flowing into the art with their mystical wisdom.

An unveiling of this unique sculpture will take place at the Edge of Town Gallery. It marks the beginning of a fundraiser Bearcloud suggests can create funds necessary to implement the massive structure called the Chameleon Project.

Come out and meet the artists! David Lewis internationally known for his monumental and realistic, historical Native American bronze sculptures and Bearcloud, world renowned visionary, artist and author, will be in person introducing their collaboration to the world at this event. The unveiling of the art and project will take place on November 7, 2009, as it begins its journey between noon and 8:00pm. Click here for more details.
